U.S. Army logoChristopher joined the Army on December 30, 2008 He was an Infantryman. He graduated from Basic and AIT at Fort Benning, GA, and stayed there to also complete the Basic Airborne Course, all in 2009. In June of 2009 he was assigned to C Troop, 1st Squadron 33rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell KY.

He earned the following awards: Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/Bronze Service Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Basic Parachutist Badge, Expert Weapons Qualification Badge (Rifle), and the Overseas Service Bar.

Christopher was raised right outside of Charlotte, in Harrisburg, NC and graduated from Central Cabarrus High School in 2006. Sports were his passion and he especially loved football (Packers fan). He married his sweetheart Heather in October 2009. Christoper was an amazing man with an unforgettable smile and laugh (Joker Smile) and will always be cherished and missed by all who knew him!
