What does Memorial Day Mean to You?

First observed in 1868, Memorial Day was commemorated as a time to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in military service to our country. Over the years many have forgotten the true meaning of the holiday.

It is up to all of us to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day. With this mission in mind, the Woody Williams Foundation has partnered with Carry the Load to ensure that those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms will not be forgotten.

Be One of Woody's Warriors

Throughout the month of May, we’ll be participating in a series of relays and rallies across the nation and carrying with us the legacies and stories of those heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

We invite you to join Woody’s Warriors and be a part of this mission!
