Cindy is the Foundation's Assistant Director of Programs where she provides support in areas such as communications and scheduling as well as maintaining physical and digital business files related to the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument (GSFMM) projects. In doing so, she helps improve how the Foundation communicates with GSFMM project teams and the Gold Star Families that the organization serves.
Cindy works hand-in-hand with the Director of Programs and to optimize efficiency, quality, and consistency of the GSFMM Project by facilitating consistent operations and coordinating correspondence with key stakeholders.
Cindy’s background has special meaning to the Foundation as she is the daughter of Lt. Col Kenneth Stonebraker who went missing-in-action from a recon mission over North Vietnam on Oct 28, 1968. Her life experiences provide a genuinely valuable connection to the mission of the Woody Williams Foundation.
Her professional background includes real estate, finance, contracting, advertising/marketing, fundraising, funeral services, and farming. These experiences have equipped her to provide beneficial support in many areas. In addition to her involvement with the Woody Williams Foundation, Cindy serves as a volunteer with various Veterans Service Organizations and is an active advocate for Gold Star Families.
