One of Kentucky's new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument honoring the families of servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the military is now a reality.

John Hensley (USMC League) was the Chairman of the committee for the Gold Star Family Memorial Monument (GSFMM) and an Honorary Board Member, Woody Williams Foundation. The committee for the memorial was comprised of several Gold Star Families from the eastern Kentucky area.

Gold Star Family members and relatives are those who have sacrificed a Loved One for our Freedom.

Any excess funds raised for this Gold Star Families Memorial Monument Project will be used to further the mission to honor and serve Gold Star Families and the legacy of their Loved Ones who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
