TSGT Adam Ginett

TSgt Adam Ginett was born May 3, 1980 and was KIA January 19, 2010 in Afghanistan. Sgt Ginett deployed 3 times to Iraq and was on his second deployment in Afghanistan. Sgt Ginett enlisted in the Air Force in 1998 and graduated from Explosive Ordnance School in 1999. Sgt Ginett was assigned to the 31st Civil Engineering Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy. Sgt Ginett loved what he was doing and expressed that to his parents often. Sgt Ginett served 13 yrs in the Air Force and earned 2 Batchelors and 1 Masters degree. Whenever he was home he would work with his dad on restoring his 1948 Ford truck. Adam had a favorite saying "Don't just make a path, Blaze a trail." On Sgt Ginetts 1st tour to Afghanistan he earned a Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and Valor. Posthumously Sgt Ginett was awarded the Bronze Star Second Oak Leaf Cluster w/ Valor, Bronze Star Third Oak Leaf Cluster w Valor, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, and Air Force Combat Action Medal. Sgt Ginett is survived by his parents James and Christina Kazakavage and sister Sarah Tart.
