Austin was a kid with a big smile who loved being around his friends and family. We loved hunting together and eating Mexican food.
We have been a GSF for 12 years. Being a GSM, having to accept that my son had been killed has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I refused to let my son and other GSF loved one’s be forgotten. Six GSF from our area worked for 6 years to raise $400,000 to build our Veterans Memorial Park with our Prayer Garden, Family statue, GSMM and walk of honor. No one will ever be forgotten. Austin is in my heart and by my side always.
