When Casey enlisted in the Army he seemed to find his niche and purpose in life wanting to do what he could to serve our country and others. He loved being a part of his Airborne unit and being a paratrooper at Fort Bragg NC.
He wanted nothing more than to join his unit when they were being deployed to Afghanistan however a month before his unit was deployed he passed away at the NC Cancer hospital in Chapel Hill, NC from a rare cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma after he fought hard for 16 months against this dreaded disease.
He will ever be remembered for his kindness and generosity and the profound impact that he had on his unit and all those who knew and loved him.
