Joey loved children and always asked us to send him treats for the children. So when he died we started a 501C3 to honor his sacrifice.
This year is the 12th year of existence for that charity who strives to take care of children making sure they have life's basics (food, shelter and basic needs). The name of our organization is Joey's Hope NOLA (joeyshopenola.org).
To date we have served thousands of meals to children and their families and provided rental assistance and basics for many more.
