Mark always wanted to fly for the Marine Corps.
He studied very hard, was an Eagle Scout in BSA, ran cross country and track in high school.
He received a full ROTC scholarship to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, FL. After he commissioned, he did training in Pensacola FL. (where he loved fishing and riding his motorcycle), then Meridian, Mississippi. He was then assigned to fly the F35B Lightning ll with VFMAT-501 at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina.
He was a very thoughtful, caring, young man and is missed so very much.
