Patrick Kordsmeier loved his job and took his responsibility as Property Book Officer very seriously. He was set to retire before he deployed with the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. However, he chose to give up retirement to deploy with his fellow soldiers. He loved God, his family, and his country. His loss is felt every day, but we are proud of his courage and sacrifice.
